The Plexi Drive Deluxe is housed in a dual format case. On the front we find numerous buttons to interact with it : Volume, Gain, 3-band EQ and 2 mini Bass / Mids toggle switches which allow you to boost their respective frequency range. We also have access to a Mid-Boost which can be activated via the secondary foot-switch.

Les Paul in hand, all at 12:00, the pedal delivers a solid, typically British crunch. We obtain a thick, dense drive, with a midrange that sings and harmonics that burst forth. It's fluid, well defined and very fun to play. By pushing the gain towards 3:00 p.m. we touch on Guns and other typically Hard Rock sounds. We gain in harmonics and in linking, in density. The Plexi Drive is really fun to play. The two mini-switches are extremely effective. The switch on the right allows you to boost the mids while adding a little gain. The left switch thickens the bottom of the spectrum and brings more body and base. Ideal for rhythms and palm mutes. We will notice an overall quite "squashy" attack when attacking hard, which makes managing the dynamics very fun.
